This roastery was born as a natural progression of a barista who wanted to keep moving forward and learning more and more. In 2017, I founded the Barista brand, and shortly after, we opened Barista Café in the town of Lučenec.

Taking care of the café alone was not enough for me – I wanted to go further and have my own coffee to serve. That’s why, in 2019, we founded the specialty coffee roastery Barista Coffee Roasters.

Our goal is to show that everything evolves – and so does coffee, its roasting, and its preparation. We want to teach our customers this approach and help them stand out from the majority of other cafés.

We always select the most interesting coffees for you. We search for and taste many different coffees to bring you the stories and the amazing flavors they hold within.

This is exactly how we approach roasting as well – we look for the ideal profile that brings out all the best flavors and aromas from each coffee. We are advocates of lighter roasting, which highlights the fruity notes of coffee, since coffee is a fruit and every fruit naturally contains acidic flavor notes.
