Grown on the forested slopes of Rwanda’s Western Province near the shores of Lake Kivu, this lot comes from Cyesha Coffee Washing Station in Nyamasheke District (Macuba sector) — an area known for its biodiversity and high elevations (1,450–1,750 m a.s.l.). The climate here supports slow drying and excellent cup clarity, giving this natural process coffee a juicy, layered character that stays elegant from first sip to finish.
Behind the project is Muraho Trading Co. — a key driver of Rwanda’s modern quality movement, helping push naturals and honeys to consistently high specialty standards.
Why you’ll love it
Red Bourbon at altitude = naturally high sweetness and complexity
A clean, controlled natural profile: fruity and “winey” without being wild
Produced with cherries from around 470 smallholder farmers delivering to Cyesha
